Clam Club CPH #1

Præsenteres af Hahnemanns Køkken København

Dinner Series | Thursday, March 1, 2018 | 6.30pm-11.30pm

Film, food and talk

CLAM CLUB is a fusion of film and supper club, dedicated to great female film makers and chefs. It was founded by Kathrin Kuna and started in Berlin in November 2017.

We watch a movie, eat together and talk. Men are more than welcome to join, the spotlight will be on women though.

What is the evening about

The first ever Copenhagen edition of CLAM CLUB will feature Danish film maker Christina Rosendahl and Trine. Both have been friends for years, with mutual interest in each others profession and generous support for each other. We look forward to a vivid and heartfelt discussion about food, film and feminism!

Doors open at 6.30pm

- Aperitif and little snacks -

- Film -

The documentary VOLD (Violently in Love) premiered in 2017. Behind the closed doors of the Copenhagen-based women's shelter, the women and children are slowly recovering after having escaped domestic violence. Day by day the women are processing their traumas, building confidence and slowly understanding what it takes to break the cycle of violence.

The movie will be screened in OV with English subtitles.

- Dinner will start after the movie -

Trine will prepare a three course dinner for us, based on her principles of cooking with love, seasonable ingredients and inspired by her favourite childhood dishes - exactly what we will need after this movie, that gets under your skin.

During dessert, the Q&A with Christina and Trine will start.

- Tickets -
The ticket includes an aperitif and snacks upon arrival, the screening of the movie, a 3-course-dinner, a glass of wine and water. The ticket for the evening is DKK 550.
