The Museum of Copenhagen invites you to a children´s event about archaeology. In the Archaeological Workshop, children of all ages help the archaeologist examine the many exciting finds that are excavated from the ground under the city streets and pavements every day. Here you can get close century-old pottery fragments, smoking pipes, leather shoes and animal bones.
After the visit in the Archaeological Workshop, the museum´s café Spirrevippen invites you to a delicious children´s brunch, where you will also have the opportunity to ask the archaeologist additional questions.
Children of all ages can participate accompanied by adults.

Meeting place: the Archaeological Workshop, Stormgade 20 (corner of Stormgade and H C Andersen´s Boulevard), 1555 Copenhagen V. The children´s brunch is served afterwards in the museum´s café Spirrevippen, Stormgade 18.

The Museum of Copenhagen is the capital museum and the city´s collective memory. The museum wants to bring the citizens and visitors close to their common cultural heritage, for instance by inviting them behind the scenes in the Archaeological Workshop.
The museum café Spirrevippen is owned and run by Louise and Emil, who have created a cozy and relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy home-baked cakes, good coffee and breakfast in beautiful and quite surroundings.

Children´s brunch plate with a homemade bun with butter, homemade jam, homemade Nutella and freshly baked pancake and freshly cut fruit (melon, banana, strawberries, grapes and nectarine). Served with a juice/ cocoa box.
Adult brunch plate with yogurt and homemade compote and granola, rye bread and homemade bun with butter, homemade jam, homemade Nutella and Vesterhavs cheese as well as a soft-boiled egg, fresh strawberries with homemade ginger/ mint syrup and a croissant or cinnamon roll. Served with juice and optional coffee.
