THE BEST ’SMØRREBRØD’ OF DENMARK

If your mouth waters when you hear the word ’smørrebrød’, you need to find yourself at Israels Plads on the 1th of September 2018. We have joined forces with food critic and author Ole Troelsø and together we will take you to an exclusive tasting in the modern universe of “open faced sandwiches”! On the day Ole is going to launch his tribute to the super-Danish dish; his book ‘The Best Smørrebrød of Denmark’. In his work with the publication, Ole has been on an incredible journey though the Danish “open-faced-sandwich-landscape” – a journey that you can follow during the Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival.

We have invited a handful of the open faced sandwich wizards – both men and women! Seven restaurants in all are going to present their signature dishes from the book and we will make sure that there is beer, a schnapps and sweet sound for the journey. 

 

The ticket includes:

Seven signature dishes (NB, the dishes are only half pieces)

One Jacobsen festival beer

One schnapps for the dinner!
