Together with the Danish Petanque Federation, we’re transforming the festival square into a little slice of Provence – complete with beautiful courts, festive atmosphere, and proper rules. Just like in the South of France, it’s all set up to be relaxed, fun, and open to both pros and amateurs.

Grab your boules, bring a teammate for the doubles tournament, and join the competition for exclusive prizes from Marseille (trust us – you’ll want to win them). The Danish Petanque Federation are experts in the relaxed yet precise art of pétanque. They are behind the tournament and ensure everything runs smoothly — with a twinkle in the eye and room for both seasoned players and enthusiastic beginners. The Federation works daily to promote the joy, precision, and community spirit that define pétanque in Denmark.

Provence is the friendship region of Copenhagen Cooking 2025 — known for its sunny landscapes, rich culinary traditions, and love of simple, high-quality ingredients. During the festival, we bring the tastes, scents, and atmosphere of Southern France to Copenhagen.

Throughout the tournament, players can enjoy Pernod, generously provided by Pernod Ricard, and compete for exclusive prizes sponsored by the city of Marseille — a true celebration of Provencal spirit and southern charm.
