Organic is not just about climate and taste – it’s also about resilience. When war, climate change, and global crises hit, organic agriculture often proves to be a surprisingly stable and sustainable solution.
In this conversation, you’ll meet three strong voices from the global organic landscape, all of whom have experienced and worked with organic resilience in practice:
Yan Ostrovskyi, organic farmer from Ukraine, shares his experiences from a country at war, where local supply and independence have become a matter of survival.
Thaddeo Tibasiima, head of the Organic Farmer Learning Centre in Uganda, talks about how organic strengthens communities and ensures food security in an unstable climate.
Sebastian Nielsen, CEO of Slow Forest, puts it all into perspective and speaks about the need for system change – especially in Europe.
The conversation is moderated by Trine Krebs, who, with her broad knowledge of organics, food, and communication, will guide the audience through the debate. There will be opportunities to ask questions along the way.
