In the historic museum garden, Designmuseum Danmark invites you to a spectacular dinner inspired by the museum’s current exhibition, TRYKKRAFT!
In the garden’s charming, authentic surroundings, all your senses will be delighted as the acclaimed museum café serves up a delicious menu of seasonal ingredients, beautifully presented on sharing platters.
Enjoy a feast of flavours while gaining insight into Danish textiles, fabric printing, and the designers—past and present—who have championed craftsmanship and quality.

In the heart of Copenhagen, you’ll find Denmark’s national design museum. A place filled with inspiring exhibitions for the whole family—ranging from iconic design objects to innovative, cutting-edge works.
At the centre of the museum lies the historic museum garden: a green oasis in the middle of the city.
The museum café, FORMAT, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offers both indoor and outdoor seating during the summer months, with a menu focused on high-quality, seasonal produce.
In case of bad weather…
The event will be moved indoors to the museum’s beautiful banquet hall or café.
Please note that the price does not include the ticketing fee.

Starter
Salads from Kieselgaarden with honey and mustard dressing
Roasted date tomatoes with burrata & Italian rocket
Glazed carrots from Lammefjorden with fresh raspberries & tarragon
Charred cauliflower with caper vinaigrette and chervil
Cassoulet of king oyster mushrooms and chanterelles, with celeriac purée, roasted garlic and browned butter
Dessert
Rhubarb trifle with white chocolate cream and crumble
FORMAT sparkling rosé (2 glasses) + still or sparkling water
