Frederiksberg Harvest Feast - Kokkeriet

We are looking forward to welcoming back Kokkeriet as part of Frederiksberg Harvest Feast 2018. The restaurant, that holds one Michelin star, has composed of a three-course dinner with succulent dishes that lead your mind to bright summer evenings.

Sammy Shafi, the man behind Kokkeriet, says: "At Kokkeriet we focus on high quality and local produce, mainly Danish and organic. We are looking forward to moving outside to the heart of Frederiksberg and inviting you to a harvest table where we will present the best ingredients from the organic farmers for a wonderful dinner under the treetops"

Menu
Chopped beetroot, zucchini syrup, fresh cheese, herb & rapeseed oil

The best of the pork & lamb with grilled summer cabbage, potato on potato and parsley & celery with sage.

Carrot / squash cake, oat & sweet cream.

Farmers
The family farm Birthesminde is an organic farming based on the overall idea of thinking animal welfare and sustainability into the production of meat and crops. In the farm they have geese, chickens, ducks, goats, cows and black-legged pigs, which is their great passion. All pigs have plenty of space in forests where they find natural food. You can also visit their delicious farm shop in Vipperød 50 km west of Copenhagen.

Langebjerggaard, who supplies lamb for this menu, is located in Vemmelev and focuses on their lambs who live on the banks where they eat salt and seaweed. Langebjerggaard also works with young people with severe problems in terms of mental, social, behavioral and learning issues.

The practicalities

You must bring your plate, cutlery and glass yourself. • It is possible to buy beverages on the day. • You will be sitting at the restaurant you buy the ticket, so be sure to buy tickets for the same restaurant if you want to sit together. • We meet at 17.00 and at 18.00 dinner is served. At 21.00 we say thank you for food and see you again next year. • In case of rain, we have taken care of plan B.

Partners

Frederiksberg Harvest Feast is a partnership between Municipality of Frederiksberg, Økologisk Landsforening and Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival. Supported by the Tuborg Foundation. Jalm&B will put delicious Artisan-bread on the table, and Il Fornaio will provide organic olive oil to dip the bread in. Ramlösa will put water on the table for the guests.
