Frederiksberg Harvest Feast: Ewalds x Ingwersen

Presented by Copenhagen Cooking

Frederiksberg Harvest Festival
Experience the magic as we gather 1,500 people for an unforgettable long-table dinner right in the heart of the beautiful Frederiksberg Allé. Seven of the city’s renowned restaurants are behind the menus, serving flavorful dishes featuring this year’s star ingredient—onion—alongside the season’s finest produce. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Frederiksberg Harvest Festival, a celebration of community, culinary joy, and the late summer spirit in the city. Take your seat at the table and join us in celebrating a decade of delicious moments under the open sky.

Your hosts
On the corner of Allégade 24, you’ll find Ewalds – a French brasserie firmly rooted in the traditions of French cuisine. Here, foie gras, frog legs and fine Burgundy wines come together in perfect harmony with informal, charming service – all in cosy surroundings in the heart of Frederiksberg.

Owner and head chef Søren Ewald runs the kitchen on a daily basis. With a culinary education from Le Sommelier and a background in butchery from Slagter Lund, craftsmanship and quality ingredients are second nature to him.

Ingwersen was founded in 1904 and began as a modest greengrocer in Frederiksberg. Since then, the company has grown into a prominent Danish food business. Now led by Casper Muusfeldt, the firm offers a wide selection of Danish and international products, ranging from local vegetables to exotic fruits, nuts, and spices.

Practicalities
You will need to bring your own plate, cutlery, and glass. We will provide both beer and wine bars on the Avenue. You will be seated at the restaurant to which you purchase your ticket, so remember to buy tickets for the same restaurant if you want to sit together. We gather from 5:00 PM, and at 6:00 PM we all sit down to dine. At 9:00 PM, we say thanks for the meal and see you next year.

Il Fornaio will provide handmade Primitivo sourdough bread for the table, and award-winning organic extra virgin olive oil for dipping.

Oatly will be serving up cortado´s and chocolate milk at the end of the dinner

This Year's Main Star: Onion
In 2025, we celebrate the onion in all its forms – from the crisp and fresh to the slowly caramelized. The onion is more than just an ingredient; it's a flavor carrier that can transform any meal. Copenhagen Cooking invites you on a culinary journey through the many layers of the onion, where taste, creativity, and community are at the heart of it all. Read more about this year’s main star here.

In case of bad weather …
We’re hoping for sunshine – otherwise, we’ll see you at K.B. Hallen. The decision will be made 1–3 days in advance, and you will be notified directly.

Please note that the price excludes the ticket fee.
