Frederiksberg Harvest Feast: EWALDS x Seerupgaard

EWALDS on Allegade is a piece of France on Frederiksberg. The brasserie is at Frederiksberg Harvest Feast for the first time, and in collaboration with the organic farm Seerupgaard they will serve a delicious three-course menu.

EWALDS is a classic French brasserie in Frederiksberg. Even the most francophiles can satisfy their cravings, with classics such as white wine steamed moules frites, tartar and steak with bearnaise sauce on the menu. Behind EWALDS is Søren Ewald Fossum, who has dreamed of the restaurant since he as a young man was apprenticed to his grandfather at Slagter Lund in Frederiksberg. EWALDS serves Søren's favorite dishes with inspiration from the kitchens, in which he has worked throughout his career.

Seerupgaard on Amager is run by Neel and Marc Seerup Hansen. The land has been cultivated for many generations since Dutch farmers at the request of Christian II came to Amager to supply Copenhagen with good vegetables. The farm's land was converted to organic production in 2014, and now a wealth of exciting vegetable varieties, herbs and flowers are grown. During the season, the farm invites guest to visit for exciting event where you can, for example, taste their incredible cold-pressed honey.

The practicalities: • You must bring your own plate, cutlery and glasses. • We provide both beer and wine bars on the avenue. • You will be sitting at the restaurant you are buying a ticket for, so remember to buy tickets for the same restaurant if you would like to sit together. • We meet from 5:00 p.m., and at 6:00 p.m. we all sit at the table. At 9.00 p.m. we say thank you for the food and see you next year. • In case of rain, we have provided a roof over your head.

Menu

Starter:
Squash, zucchini, courgette – it goes by many names and are served with lots of summer flowers!

Main course:
Grilled leeks, onions and cabbage with braised cochinita pork and crispy salads

Dessert:
Posset with pickled rhubarb, sweet woodruff and crispy, sweet bread
