Frederiksberg Harvest Feast: Promenaden 1932 x Ellevang Landbrug

Promenaden is a beloved brasserie at Frederiksberg that has existed since 1932 as the name suggests. Today it has become a modern classic still located right in the middle of Frederiksberg Allé. The brasserie was part of Frederiksberg Høstfest for the first time last year - this year they are back to serve you a wonderful harvest menu. They have teamed up with small pig-farm Ellevang and together they have created a menu worth coming a long way for.

Promenaden 1932, located in the middle of Frederiksberg Allé, has existed since 1932 - hence the name. Today it is a modern brasserie offering a quick cup of coffee, a delicious breakfast for those who have time, a welcoming lunch and an evening full of classic dishes made from local produces. https://www.promenaden1932.dk/

Ellevang Landbrug is a small farm run by the two young farmers Stine Rewers Piil and Troels Piil. They take care of the grunting, happy and organic-bred pigs. The pigs are born and die on their field. They live their lives outside all year around or at least when they can be bothered, because they have small houses and hay tto hide in when the wind bites, the mud gets to thick or the sun gets too warm.

The practicalities: Each guest has to bring their own plate, cutlery and glass • There will be both beer and wine bars on sight • You will be sitting at the table of the specific restaurant, so be sure to buy tickets for the same restaurant if you want to sit together • We meet at 17.30 and at 18.00 dinner is served • At 21.00 we say thank you and goodbye • In case of rain, we have taken care of a plan B.

Salad of cabbage, peas and nut vinaigrette

Jerusalem artichokes, new onions and cream of smoked cheese

Fried chickpeas, radishes and cucumber

Braised organic pig from ’Ellevang’ served with carrots, broccolini, crushed potatoes, lovage and herb sauce

Trifle of rhubarb
