A sensory street feast with Italian flavors, local harvest, and festive togetherness
For two nights in a row, Guldbergsgade in Nørrebro transforms into a long, open air and vibrant table of local produce and acoustic vibes.
Rodfast and Rust invite you to a green and soulful celebration, where rustic Italian cuisine meets the best local ingredients — and where guests gather close to honor summer’s bounty.
The evening begins at 5:00 PM with a sparkling drink and a seat at the long table in Rust's cozy courtyard. The first course sets the tone: a creamy Tuscan bean dish with fresh herbs and crisp, toasted sourdough — warm, fragrant, and inviting.
Next, we open the gates to Rust’s leafy backyard, where we fire up the grill: an abundant spread of grilled, marinated, and roasted summer vegetables, bursting with Italian-inspired flavors — tangy, sweet, salty, and smoky. Every dish is crafted with love and the finest Danish, organic produce.
The evening rounds off with a light, sweet-tart rhubarb dessert — a fresh finale to a dinner that’s generous, green, and packed with flavor.

With more than 60 years of combined experience, Rust and Rodfast know exactly how to create the perfect mix — when what you want is live music in your ears, unforgettable food on your plate, and an atmosphere that stays with you long after the night ends.
Rust has long established itself as a beloved live music venue and cultural landmark on Nørrebro. Jesper & Anders from Rodfast have crafted everything from Michelin-level fine dining and mouthwatering bistro classics to bold, locally-sourced vegetable creations. On most days, you’ll find them at home in the kitchen at Østre Gasværk Teater.
Now, we’re teaming up to bring street dining to new heights: long, communal tables, bold flavors off the grill, mellow tunes in the background, and laughter filling the glasses — all set right in the heart of Guldbergsgade.
In case of bad weather...
Should the weather turn, we’ll move the party indoors at Rust, where the intimate tables and summer atmosphere will carry on just as warmly.
