At Home With Lærke Kløvedal

Presented by Lærke x Iluka

The restaurants of Copenhagen is food critic at Politiken Lærke kløvedal's second home. At this year's Copenhagen Cooking you have the chance to join an after work feast at Iluka and hear Lærke Kløvedal tell about her love for gastronomy, good produce and the craftmanship in food.

The word Iluka stems form the Aboriginal language and means "close to the sea" which is exactly what this afternoon in the company of Lærke Kløvedal and owner of Iluka, Beau Clugston, is all about. Growing up with a first class view to the North Sea and as the name might reveal to some, the daughter of the adventourer Troels Kløvedal, Lærke Kløvedal has a love for the simple, pure cuisine and the edible treasures found in the sea. This approach is very much aligned with the way Beau Clugston makes his menues at Iluka - uncompromising sea food and super fresh products.

Together with a handful of other food enthusiasts you will be eating oysters, open sea urchins, taste fresh hermit crabs and much more! All of it will be accompanied by good wine and ditto stories on anything from sea food and a childhood on board Nordkaperen to the life as a well known tv-hostess at "Lærke Meets.." and gourmet food critic.

Be preparred to indulge in a shell fish feast when Lærke Kløvedal and Iluka cook up an afternoon in the spirit of the sea!

Address: Iluka, Peder Skrams Gade 15, 1054 København
