Join a sensational and tasteful experience when chef and food artist Mette Martinussen invites you to a very special feast:

Babette´s Feast is a classic story based on Karen Blixen's novel. I am currently working with gastronomic staging to transform the story into a food theater, which you can experience at the Theater Republique from September 22, 2018. As a prelude to the premier, I would like to invite you to a unique feast in my new studio for food & stories where I want to interpret and play with the dishes and tastes of the classic tale.

Feast is an old word for a big festive gathering, where the common meal is the focal point. This evening, I will serve, true to Babette's Feast, 4 dishes, where you can expect funny twists, traditional dishes in new forms, and not least a delicious meal that brings together the guests at the table.

A feast rarely comes without something to drink, so 3 glasses of wine will be served to the food.
