Join us for coffee and an honest conversation about ultra-processed foods, as the Danish Heart Foundation and the Danish Diabetes Association invite you to a morning talk on a growing part of our everyday diet.
Is ultra-processed food really that bad – and how can we even tell what counts as ultra-processed?
More than 50 percent of Danes find it difficult to assess whether a food is ultra-processed – making it harder to make healthy choices in the supermarket. Many of the most processed products are wrapped in health claims like “high in fiber” or “rich in protein.” But can we trust that?
This morning session offers practical insights into what ultra-processed foods actually are, why it matters – and how we as consumers can better navigate the jungle of nutrition messaging.
Your hosts
Natasha Selberg (Danish Heart Foundation) and Cecilie Sandvad (Danish Diabetes Association) both work to make nutrition and health understandable and usable in daily life. They’ll share their knowledge on how to identify ultra-processed foods and make better choices – without being fooled by flashy health claims.
Trine Krebs will moderate the conversation. She is a food communicator, countrywoman, and green chef at FOOD – known for creating warm, meaningful dialogues about food, people, and responsibility.
