Taller x El Baqueano - Unique Latin American dining experience at Restaurant PMY

Presented by Restaurant PMY

Be seduced by the Latin American cuisine when Fernando and Gabriela from El Baqueano, Argentina, visits Karlos Ponte from PMY.

Karlos Ponte has his roots in Venezuela and after working in top kitchens in Europe and two years with his own restaurant, Taller, he opened PMY in 2017 with the two other Latin American top chefs, Diego Munoz from Peru and Emilio Macias from Mexico. The three chefs came together to offer Copenhagen an authentic South and Middle American folk kitchen and to serve the best dishes from each of their respective countries. The name PMY is an acronym for the main ingredients of the three countries: Papa (Peru potatoes), Maíz (Mexico Maize) and Yuca (Venezuela root), which you will definitely find on the menu.

Behind the Argentinian top restaurant, El Baqueano, is head chef Fernando Rivarola and sommelier Gabriela Lafuente. The restaurant is dedicated to creating a gastronomic experience with local, seasonal produce from small producers and with native and alternative Argentinean meat. In 2013 the restaurant was listed on Latin America´s “50 Best Restaurants” and has since then been in the top 20 every year.

This evening, PMY and El Baqueano join forces to take you on a journey to the South and Middle American cuisine where you can expect flavor explosion and greatness. They will each make one snack and three dishes, representing their kitchen.

Wine menu is included in the price.
