Take a seat at the long table as Magasin and Royal Copenhagen host a sensuous summer evening on iconic Kongens Nytorv. Two of Denmark’s most iconic institutions – each with a legacy rooted in design, lifestyle, and tradition – join forces for a unique dining experience where history, aesthetics, and flavour unite.
For this year’s Copenhagen Cooking, we’re transforming the square in front of Magasin into a pop-up summer restaurant, where Royal Copenhagen will unveil their new Motif collection, and chef Eva Hurtigkarl will serve a colourful menu inspired by the late summer harvest.
Look forward to an alfresco evening where timeless elegance meets seasonal taste – served on the finest porcelain.

In case of rain
In case of rain, the dinner will be moved indoors to our event space, Kong Hans Hall, inside Magasin. Guests will be notified no later than one week before the event. We still recommend dressing appropriately for the weather on the day.
Please note that the price listed doesn't include the additional ticket fee.
The menu includes:
– Mackerel with cucumber and salted gooseberries
– New potatoes with grilled onions and leeks with aged cheese
– Grilled corn with crab miso
– Tomato tart with fresh cheese and summer greens
– Fig leaf parfait with cherries
Please note: Vegetarian, gluten-free and lactose-free alternatives are available. Kindly indicate your preferences in the comment section when purchasing tickets. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a vegan menu.
