Join this year’s coziest long-table dinner in Nordvest
Once again, Rødder is setting up the long table in Nordvest during Copenhagen Cooking. This time, they’re teaming up with Copenhagen’s oldest school garden, hidden behind the gates of Lersøparken.
There will be food and fun for both children, adults, and the young at heart. Rødder will serve a delicious, organic menu featuring the best local summer produce right in the school garden’s oasis of climbing trees, fruit trees, herbs, carrots, and caterpillar feet.
There will be an open bar with juice for both kids and adults, grilled vegetables, fun activities for the children, and a guided tour of the school garden.
Bring your whole family, all your friends, and even your neighbor, and join us for the coziest and most beautiful school garden party of the year right in Nordvest.
Programme
17:00 – Rødder opens the garden bar with a lovely organic selection of wine, beer and juice for kids

18:00–19:00 – A fun and sensory activity for the children
19:00–20:00 – Join a guided tour of the garden and hear the story of Copenhagen’s oldest school garden (or head home earlier if the little ones need bedtime)

Your host
Copenhagen School Gardens is a non-profit association founded in 1903. Here, children aged 0–14 from across the city are given the opportunity to cultivate their own patch of soil, growing flowers and vegetables either in their free time, with their class during school hours, or alongside friends from their daycare.
Rødder is based in the old record factory Pladefabrikken on Bispevej in Copenhagen NV, where they run an open lunch canteen during the week that transforms into a cozy event space on weekends. They also offer organic catering, host long table dinners in the fields, concerts, and much more – all rooted in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, seasonal organic ingredients from small regenerative farms, and a deep love for vibrant, vegetable-forward cooking.
