Join us for a special evening filled with sharing, flavor, and good company.

Imagine a long communal table where strangers become tablemates and the dishes tell stories of tradition. In the center of the table, you’ll find a selection of classic antipasti from Emilia-Romagna: charcuterie, cheese, piadina, pickled vegetables, and many other local delicacies – ready to be tasted and passed along.

All of it accompanied by good wine, light conversation, and the joy of discovering new flavors – and perhaps even new friendships.

This is not just a set menu, but a shared experience – just like in the old days: unhurried, with open hearts and curious taste buds.

Your host 

Caronte is an Italian restaurant overlooking the green park in Carlsberg Byen – a place where the food tastes like home and tradition lives on.

Our kitchen takes you straight to the pots and pans of Italian grandmothers, with honest and authentic dishes. The chef is always in pursuit of true flavor, allowing the natural character of the ingredients to shine through.

With large windows facing the park, the restaurant offers a bright and relaxed atmosphere – the perfect place to unwind from the city’s hustle and bustle. Our smiling staff will make you feel at home and ensure a warm and memorable experience in the heart of Copenhagen.

Starters
- charcuterie board served with pickled vegetables and gnocco fritto (a puffed up fried dough)
- stracciatella with seasonal vegetables
- erbazzone, a spinach and chard savory pie
- sour-dough bread, focaccia and extra olive oil

Pasta main
- pasta alla Norma, a sauce with fried aubergines, tomato, basil and ricotta

Main
- vitello tonnato, a baked veal in a tuna sauce with fried capers and tomato and rocket salad

Dessert
-panna cotta, cooked cream with Cynar gel, orange peel and savory biscuits
