We invite guests to a warm and flavorful communal dining experience in our West African restaurant, where both food and fellowship take center stage. Rooted in West African food culture—where meals are shared and conversations flow freely—we aim to create an experience where guests can taste a variety of traditional dishes while getting to know each other (and the culture) better.

The event will be an informal and inclusive long-table dinner, where guests are served small tasting portions of classic West African dishes. Along the way, we’ll share stories about the ingredients, the history behind the food, and the traditions that bring people together in West African homes.

We believe that food has the power to build relationships, awaken the senses, and bridge cultures – and that’s exactly the atmosphere we hope to bring to Copenhagen Cooking 2025.

Danafrika is a pan-African restaurant that has brought the taste of West Africa to Copenhagen for over 10 years. With a kitchen inspired by countries such as Guinea, Senegal, Ghana, and Nigeria, Danafrika serves authentic dishes that celebrate the rich and diverse culinary craftsmanship of West Africa.
