Social Dining in Nyhavn

Presented by Kompasset

Karma Sushi and Restaurant Kompasset invite you to a meeting of culinary minds. The two restaurants are creating a menu with both Japanese inspired dishes and modern interpretations of Danish classics. Each dish will be served with Japanese sake or homemade Danish aquavit.

The party continues in the backyard at Karma Sushi next door.


Menu

Starter
Salmon with truffle cream, topped with trout eggs, spring onions and citrus soy
Scallop shashimi with a jalapeño marinade topped with vinaigrette of dehydrated tomato, pickled wasabi, oyster leaf, spring onions and wasabi tobiko.

Primi
Three nigiri
Scallop topped with trout eggs and spring onions
Hermit crab from Læsø
Cod topped with teriyaki syrup and umeboshi.

Three pieces of sushi
A piece of lobster: Crisp hermit crab roll, spring onions and shiso, topped with hermit crab, hermit crab cream, avocado, teriyaki syrup and lotus root crisps and oyster herbs.
A piece of Cloudy Rainbow: Surimi and cucumber with vinaigrette of dehydrated tomato, pickled wasabi, oyster leaf, spring onions, toato crunch and wasabi tobiko, topped with salmon salmon, tuna, avocado and crisp kataifi.
A piece of Karma Crunch: Tempura shrimp and avocado rolled in masago and crunch topped with chili cream, crunch syrup and cress.

Main
Ox cheeks served in a sour tarragon sauce with Summer greens and lobster tail boiled with dill. Served with new Danish potatoes.

Dessert
Hazelnut mazarin served with red sorbet and creme chantilly.
