Exclusively for Copenhagen Cooking 2025, Restaurant ONE TEN Providence invites you to an intimate evening featuring a 5-course tasting menu inspired by the vibrant cuisine of Provence. Rather than a traditional Provencal lineup, expect a soulful fusion of French and Nordic flavors – the signature style of ONE TEN. As one of the few restaurants in Denmark offering daily tableside flambé experiences, this dinner promises to engage all your senses.
The evening unfolds in a warm, social dining setting, where guests gather around long tables in the restaurant’s charming historical space and enjoy each course together – just like a cozy family meal. It’s an invitation to leave opinions and noise at the door and simply connect through food, wine, and shared experience.
The restaurant is tucked away in a listed Copenhagen apartment in the city’s atmospheric Latin Quarter, just a short walk from Nørreport and Rådhuspladsen Metro stations. Still, ONE TEN remains one of the city’s best-kept secrets – a true gem in a neighborhood rich with cultural history. This area is home to some of Copenhagen’s oldest buildings, legendary BZ stories, and the roots of Danish rock music in the 1980s, where street festivals once drew crowds of up to 10,000 people.
Festivities begin at 6 PM, with oysters and bubbles for those who wish to ease into the evening before the main dining experience kicks off at 7 PM. A specially curated wine pairing will accompany the menu. With just one seating per evening during the festival, there’s no rush – plenty of time to linger over dessert and conversation with your newfound dining companions.
Your host
The couple Sandra and Bjørn are well-traveled in the restaurant industry and were previously trained at Molskroen, MASH and Klassisk Bistro 65 in Central Jutland. They have been running event restaurants in Jutland since 2014 and recently decided to enjoy the golden years of their careers in wonderful Copenhagen.
Restaurant ONE TEN Providence opened its doors in the summer of 2023 – was already ranked as the best-reviewed restaurant on TripAdvisor in 2024 – and has been ranked among Denmark's 20 best restaurants by Restaurant Guru since 2024. ONE TEN has no reviews from the industry's commercially sponsored reviewers – only the restaurant's own daily guests. It doesn't get more organic than that.
Provence is the friendship region of the year at Copenhagen Cooking 2025 — known for its sunny landscapes, rich food culture, and love of simple, high-quality ingredients. During the festival, we’ll bring Provence to Copenhagen with the tastes, scents, and atmosphere of the South of France.
