Social Run: Raw Culture x Harlo & Meyer x Copenhagen Cooking

Presented by Copenhagen Cooking

Join us as we kick off Copenhagen Cooking with a morning run led by Festival Director Katja Seerup Clausen and Claus Meyer.

We’ll take on a relaxed 5 km social route with stops along the way for tastings and a cosy morning vibe – and we promise: it’s a run you won’t forget anytime soon.

We meet at 7:30am at the festival grounds in Kødbyen, where the tent poles for this year’s site are just being raised. Here, Raw Culture will welcome you with an energising Morning Shot before we head towards Harlo & Meyer on Gammel Kongevej. There, a warm cinnamon swirl and ice-cold apple juice from Lilleø will be waiting.

The run then takes us back to Kødbyen, where Raw Culture opens the bar and serves kombucha on tap, while Harlo & Meyer dish up freshly baked sourdough buns with cheese and freshly brewed coffee. The coffee is brewed and served by Harlo & Meyer’s coffee partner Søren Sylvest, who, together with Claus, founded one of Copenhagen’s first coffee bars and later the roastery Copenhagen Roasters in Valby – a perfect start to the day before heading off to work.

We run at a social pace – everyone’s welcome!

Your Hosts
Harlo & Meyer is a new, informal all-day eatery located on the corner of Gammel Kongevej and Hauchsvej in Frederiksberg (formerly Meyers Bakery), where bakery, patisserie, wine bar, and kitchen come together under one roof. The place is run by chef André Skjødt Andersen and wine specialist Bo Bratlann – in close collaboration with Claus Meyer, who remains part of the ownership team.

The festival celebrates seasonal ingredients, food joy, and community – and in 2025, the onion is the star of the show, with Provence as this year’s Friendship Region.
