We invite you to a joyful and unconventional outdoor service in the heart of the food festival, where we’ll sing, toast, and say THANK YOU. Not just a quick, polite thank you – but a heartfelt, soul-filled, and festive thank you for the food.
Pastor Louise Britze will help us explore how food and God (yes, God!) might have more in common than you’d expect. We’ll sing together, reflect briefly, and maybe even share a little bread and wine – all in the spirit of the festival. Afterwards, we’ll bread and have a glass of wine. Maybe two. After all, this is Copenhagen Cooking.
Come as you are – with an open heart, curious taste buds, and a longing to feel how food and meaning are deeply, deliciously connected.
Your host
Louise Britze is a parish priest at Simeon’s Church and actively engages in conversations about faith in modern life – including as guest in the podcast: "What Would Jesus Have Said?". She also has a deep interest in the meal as a ritual and a space for community, something that shines through in this special service at Copenhagen Cooking.
