The Backroom Beer Feast is a small and exclusive tribute to the Asian kitchen, to craft beer and to women who challenge the notion that beer is ”a guy thing”. 25 guests will gather for a feast at Restaurant Hanzo on Værnedamsvej with 12 courses served to share in 4 heats. We’ll dine in the ”secret” room once a buther’s walk-in fridge, which you have to pass through the kitchen to find – just like in the Far East where the best meals are oftentimes found in small alleyways and hidden backrooms. Brew master Jon from Crafted By will present the 3 beers developed for Hanzo by the small Carlsberg-owned brewery: ”Golden Lotus”, ”Spiced Gong” and ”5th Element”. The Beer Loving Ladies’ Club are the evening’s hosts and will both share their knowledge of how to pair Asian food and beer as well as bid guests welcome with a special cocktail made from their very own ”K Vinder” beer with notes of hibiscus and chili crafted by Crafted By.
