Experience the taste of Southern France under the open sky at Frederiksberg Centret!

Embark on a sensory journey to Provence as Otto Suenson and Gastronomer invite you to an evening filled with wine, insight, and exquisite delicacies on the rooftop terrace of Frederiksberg Centret.

As part of this year’s Copenhagen Cooking, Otto Suenson presents a carefully curated wine tasting featuring classic and characterful wines from Provence. Along the way, their wine experts will share their deep knowledge of the region’s terroir, grape varieties, and winemaking traditions.

Meanwhile, Gastronomer will serve a selection of handcrafted delicacies from the same region – everything from tapenade, sausages, and olives to specialty cheeses and breads. Their culinary experts will share the stories behind the ingredients, the traditions they stem from, and how they perfectly complement the wines.

This will be an evening where you don’t just taste Provence – you experience the history and passion behind every sip and bite.

Provence is the friendship region of the year at Copenhagen Cooking 2025 — known for its sunny landscapes, rich food culture, and love for simple, high-quality ingredients. During the festival, we’ll bring Provence to Copenhagen with the flavors, scents, and atmosphere of the South of France.

Otto Suenson is one of Denmark’s oldest and most renowned wine merchants, known for their carefully selected wines and deep expertise in European wine regions.

Gastronomer is a passionate culinary universe specializing in authentic delicacies that combine taste, storytelling, and tradition with a love for quality ingredients.

Both Otto Suenson and Gastronomer have stores located in Frederiksberg Centret, and to celebrate Copenhagen Cooking, they have partnered with the centre to offer an unforgettable evening of wine, food, and knowledge under the open sky on the rooftop terrace.

The event will take place on the roof terrace of Frederikberg Centre. In case of bad weather, the event will move inside Frederiksberg Centre.

Please note that the ticket price is exclusive of ticket fees.


MENU

The evening’s wine tasting features a handpicked selection of classic wines from Provence, accompanied by carefully selected delicacies from the same region.

The table will be set with a carefully curated selection of artisanal delicacies from the same region – from tapenade, cured meats, and olives to distinctive cheeses and bread.

Throughout the evening, passionate food experts will share stories about the ingredients’ origins, the local traditions behind them, and how each element complements the wines.
