We invite you to a cozy and educational beginner-level wine tasting at the ASKO Experience Center.

Together with Rebecca, and sommelier Sæþór, we will gently guide you into the world of wine and provide you with the basic tools to understand and taste wine with confidence.

What you’ll get:

• Tasting of 7 selected wines
• Step-by-step introduction to wine tasting techniques
• Explanation of the key differences between red, white, and sparkling wine
• Insight into concepts such as acidity, tannins, sweetness, and body
• A selection of mixed snacks served throughout the evening

We will teach you how to taste wine systematically — what to look for, what to smell for, and how to describe what you experience in the glass.

The event is informal, inspiring, and designed for everyone to join — even if you have never attended a wine tasting before.

Part of a gastronomic year 

The event is part of the nationwide gastronomic celebration in 2026 in connection with the MICHELIN Guide Ceremony Nordic Countries, which will be held in Tivoli on June 1. The year will offer culinary experiences throughout the country and focus on the breadth, quality, and diversity of Danish gastronomy. Look forward to intimate dinners, star-studded pop-ups, and larger public events such as the Tivoli Food Festival.    

The MICHELIN Guide Ceremony Nordic Countries will be held in Denmark in 2025 and 2026. The event is part of the program track Taste the stars, because one or more of the chefs mentioned or food enthusiastswho work or have worked at restaurants associated with the MICHELIN Guide.
