The wine producer of the largest vineyard in the Chianti Classico area – BARONE RICASOLI

Barone Ricasoli is the age president of Italy’s prominent vineyards. The name Ricasoli has been associated with wine as far back as the year 1141 when the Brolios castle came under the Ricasoli family’s loving care and burning commitment to wine production.

The following illustration of a family tree is reproduced in a 1584 print, which is one of the first pictures we have of Chianti. For this Winemaker’s Dinner we taste wine – with a background of character, experience and long history.
