Food & Film is a food and film club that each month chooses a quality movie (oftentimes award-winning) which you can see before anyone else. Before the movie, you'll enjoy a wonderful three-course menu at the restaurant The Italian, located in Vester Voldgade, allowing you to walk to the Dagmar movie theatre, where the movie is shown.

It is July 29th 1890. A wounded man walks down the street in the small French town of Auvres. He presses his hands against a fresh gunshot wound in his stomach. The man is Vincent Van Gogh. At this time, still an unknown to the world, today one of the greatest artists in history. Even today, his tragic death is shrouded in mystery and speculations. Who was the shooter? Loving Vincent is a very unusual movie, embracing van Gogh's work, fate and death through his letters and brings new life to the characters in his paintings.
