Terms and Conditions for Madbillet

Welcome to Madbillet. The portal is owned and operated by Event Tickets ApS CVR: 33759223. Madbillet is a ticket portal that organizers can use to sell tickets for their gastronomic events. Madbillet acts exclusively as a facilitator for the sale of tickets. All products are delivered by our partners. The organizer is responsible for the individual events.

When you purchase a ticket or a product on Madbillet.dk, you accept the conditions below.

§ 1. Madbillet's role as facilitator

1.1. Contracting Party: Madbillet exclusively facilitates the sale of tickets. You enter into a purchase agreement directly with the specific organizer (e.g., a restaurant), who is responsible for the event's execution and quality.

1.2. Inquiries: Madbillet handles questions regarding the ticket purchase and payment itself. Questions about the menu, allergies, or timing must be directed to the organizer.

§ 2. Ordering and delivery

2.1. Purchase: Tickets are purchased online and sent immediately after payment to the provided email address.

2.2. Responsibility for information: You are responsible for ensuring that the entered information (name, email, etc.) is correct.

2.3. Physical products: When purchasing items such as cookbooks, the goods are delivered to the provided address.

§ 3. Prices, fees, and payment

3.1. VAT: All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.

3.2. Ticket fees: The ticket fee covers Madbillet's administrative services related to the facilitation. This fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation or withdrawal.

3.3. Payment cards, transaction fees, and security: We accept Dankort, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and MobilePay. The amount is charged when the order is completed.

Private cards issued in the EU: No fee. Business cards (EU) and cards issued outside the EU: 2.2% of the transaction amount.

Security: Payment is made via a secure, encrypted connection. In accordance with EU legislation, purchases must be approved with two-factor authentication (e.g., MitID or SMS code).

§ 4. No right of withdrawal for tickets

4.1 Right of Withdrawal: In accordance with Section 18(2)(12) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act, the purchase of tickets for events (gastronomy, culture, etc.) is not covered by the right of withdrawal.

4.2 This means that you cannot have your tickets refunded or exchanged once the purchase is completed. This also applies in cases of illness or fear of infection, unless otherwise specifically agreed with the organizer.

§ 5. Right of withdrawal for other products

5.1. Physical goods: A 14-day right of withdrawal is granted for physical goods (e.g., books) from the date of receipt, provided the item is returned in substantially the same condition.

5.2. Vouchers: There is a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase, provided the voucher has not been redeemed.

§ 6. Cancellation and refunds

6.1. Refund: Tickets are only refunded in the event of the cancellation of the specific event.

6.2. The amount: In the event of cancellation, the ticket price itself is refunded. The ticket fee covers Madbillet's costs for the administrative handling of the ticket purchase and facilitation and is therefore non-refundable. Paid transaction fees (e.g., for business cards) are likewise non-refundable.

6.3. Process: Refunds occur automatically to the payment card used no later than 7 business days after the official cancellation.

6.4 Repayment upon cancellation: If an event is cancelled, you will receive a notification via email – and Madbillet will automatically transfer the amount back to the payment card you used for the purchase. The refund usually occurs no later than 7 business days after the organizer has officially cancelled the event.

6.5 Cancellation due to legal requirements: If an event is cancelled due to official Danish legal requirements or restrictions, you will be notified via email and the ticket price will be refunded to your payment card.

6.6 Illness and personal reasons: No refund is granted in case of illness, fear of infection, or if you as a guest are prevented from participating due to foreign travel restrictions. In such cases, it is up to the individual organizer to assess whether they wish to offer an exception.

6.7 Contacting the organizer: If you have questions regarding the execution or specific details of a cancellation, you must contact the organizer directly. Information on the organizer's contact details can always be obtained by contacting info@Madbillet.dk.

§ 7. Delay and non-appearance

7.1. Responsibility: It is your responsibility to arrive on time. In case of delay, you must contact the organizer directly.

7.2. Consequences: The organizer cannot guarantee access or the full experience upon late arrival – particularly for time-specific servings. Non-appearance or delay does not entitle you to a refund or exchange of the ticket.

§ 8. Limitation of liability and Force Majeure

8.1. Quality: Madbillet is not responsible for errors or defects in the organizer's delivery of the event itself, including the quality of the food, the execution, or changes to the program. Any complaints must be directed to the organizer.

8.2. Force Majeure: Madbillet is not liable for failure to fulfill obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including technical failures of sub-suppliers, power outages, natural disasters, or legal requirements.

8.3. Operating loss: Madbillet is under no circumstances liable for indirect loss or loss of business for the buyer or organizer.

8.4. Access conditions: Madbillet is a ticket facilitator and has no influence on the physical conditions at the organizer's venue. Access conditions may vary from event to event. If you have special needs, e.g., regarding wheelchair use or reduced mobility, we recommend contacting the organizer before purchasing a ticket to ensure the venue is suitable.

8.5. Madbillet reserves the right for printing errors, technical errors, and sold-out events.

8.6. Force Majeure and technical conditions: Madbillet is not responsible for failure to deliver services or portal outages caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: technical failures of sub-suppliers (e.g., hosting or payment gateways), power outages, labor disputes, natural disasters, or extraordinary legal requirements.

8.7 Operating loss: Madbillet is under no circumstances liable for indirect loss, loss of business, or consequential damages to the buyer or organizer resulting from errors on the portal or cancelled events.
