How do you make cheese? Why can something as simple as fermented milk look, smell and taste so different depending on whether it comes from the Alps or the Pyrenees? Learn more about cheese with Ma Poules French Cheese School. At the cheese school, you will be introduced to four different cheeses and learn the fascinating stories behind them. We'll discuss why small producers who have been making cheese for generations are struggling to survive and continue their craft in a globalised world. We'll also draw parallels to Danish cheese production and exchange experiences between the two countries.
And of course, we will taste the cheeses and learn what characterises the different cheeses and how to describe the taste.
Your hosts
At Ma Poule in TorvehallerneKBH, the counter is filled with French delicacies, including fresh hams, sausages, cheeses, pates from France and much more. The French stall is driven by a passion for French gastronomy and the desire to share it with Copenhagen.

The menu includes a cheese plate with various French cheeses and a glass of wine or other beverage.

The event takes place in a tent outside on the square, so dress for the weather.
