Bring your partner, family or friends with you over to hang out in Den Hvide Kødby, Copenhagen' s old meat packing district, and enjoy a tasty traditional Danish homemade "Flæskestegssandwich" (a sandwich with pork roast and crackling). Everything is homemade - we bake the bun ourselves and make our own red cabbage and pickles.
The dessert is a handmade popsicle, size medium, available in the following flavours: hazelnut, vanilla, coffee, orange, strawberry, blackcurrant, vegan chocolate, vegan hazelnut and chocolate bomb.
It is possible to purchase drinks on the side (beer, water and wine).
Your hosts
We are Mikael & Karsten, two foodies who have been making ice cream together for 10 years - something we're pretty good at, they say around town.
This year we've been joined by Christian and Trine, who also love food as much as we do. We all have in common the love for good craftsmanship, preparing dishes from scratch and spending a lot of time on making food. That way we get the best out of it and the greatest flavour experience.
So come over and try our ice cream and our roast pork sandwiches! As we say: good ingredients and love go a long way.
Cabbage in focus
This year's headliner at Copenhagen Cooking 2024 is cabbage, and under the heading Cabbage Love, it will play an undisputed leading role in the ambition to make this versatile vegetable even more attractive.
Cabbage is full of flavour, affordable, filling, full of health and good for the body and the climate - and it thrives in our local climate. See all food events with cabbage in focus here and buy this year's cabbage poster by Pine Cone Project here.
