Come and join us for a delicious Italian supper cooked by Joe Trivelli.

Joe is a good friend of Trine and a colleague based in London: he is the head chef of the legendary River Café. He is coming to Copenhagen to present his new book, The Modern Italian Cook, and to cook a selection of recipes for us.

Joe has been with River Café for more than 15 years. His father is from Italy, which lead to many summers spent in Campania with his aunties and grannies. That’s where Joe picked up the love of cooking, family recipes, knowledge of produce, and the Italian seasons. Joe’s Anglo-Italian style is focused on a few ingredients, just perfectly prepared. Wonderful and delicious simplicity with big flavours.

Joe loves to cook at home for his wife and two children. Thus, he is also a brilliant home cook, and Trine has shared many meals with him at his house in London and his family home in Italy. Joe writes regularly for The Guardian and The Observer.

ANTIPASTO
Roasted chilli, pumpkin, and little fresh cheese

PRIMO
Penne, black truffle, anchovy and cheese
Orecchiette and tomato

SECONDO
Onion stuffed with sausage
Jerusalem artichoke and peas

DESSERT
Gelato from figs, ricotta and chocolate


There will be vegetarian optional and gluten-free pasta
The price of the ticket is 600, - kr. This includes an aperitif and 6 courses.
Italian wines are available to buy with the meal.
