Beer vs Wine Battle

Ready for an exciting evening that will challenge your taste buds? We are thrilled to announce our upcoming event in a unique collaboration between Nørrebro Bryghus and Sigurd Vinbaren. What's the first thing that comes to mind when we think about what to drink with our meal? Most would probably think of either beer or wine. Now, we want to determine once and for all which of these two noble drinks pairs best with food. Present will be Nørrebro's brewmaster, Michael Rahbek, and Sigurd's Wine Manager, Noel Koch-Søfeldt, who will do their best to convince you whether to entrust yourself to wine or beer.

And that's not all - we will also test which of the two shines the most when incorporated into the cooking process. In the two main courses, wine and beer are featured as essential elements. The menu consists of the following:

APPETIZER - Grilled scallops in mussel sauce

MAIN COURSES - Coq au vin blanc and pork cheeks braised in dark beer

DESSERT - Sigurd-ice cream

Additionally, a selection of beers and wines that pair particularly well with the food will be served. But the big question is: what pairs best...?
