In keeping with tradition, we will gather at BaneGaarden to warm ourselves around the bonfire on the evening of Midsummer Night, June 23rd, starting at 5:30 PM, to celebrate the return of summer.
The evening promises a cozy outdoor ambiance, so we'll light up the grill for a sumptuous eco-friendly communal dinner featuring a menu of Danish summer classics with a green twist. This open-air celebration will highlight fresh, seasonal vegetables and organic ingredients.
The menu will include:
-Whole roasted leg hams, seasoned with rosemary, thyme, and garlic.
-New potatoes dressed with sour cream, wild garlic, radishes, spring onions, and chervil.
-Grilled green and white asparagus with summer cabbage, browned butter, lemon zest, capers, and shallots.
-Green salad featuring charred turnips, fresh peas, herbs, and sea buckthorn.
-Sourdough bread from Perron.
Dessert:
-Rhubarb with vanilla cream, crumble, and toasted almonds.
Adult ticket price: 340 kr
