Once again Kødbyens Mad & Marked celebrate the danish "open faced sandwich" called smørrebrød. Smørrebrød is one of the eldest traditions but also a tradition that managed to renew itself along with new food tendencies coming up.

Due to Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festivals theme 'Breaking the New' they will be gathering together 9 cooks who will make traditional smørrebrød with new tastes and commodities. Participating restaurants and menus are published regularly.

Come and join the celebration of 'the open faced sandwich', the old traditions and new flavours.
