"Smørrebrød" Menu with the Best, Local Ingredients of the Season

Nordic food dogmas have revitalised the Danish food culture through renewed attention on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
Restaurant Kronborg takes this as the starting point for treating guests to a special festival menu, celebrating the union of the traditional Danish “smørrebrød” (aka open sandwiches) and the contemporary awareness of ingredients.

The "smørrebrød" menu consists of:
- Home-salted herrings, marinated in summer greens and blackberries
- Pan-fried fillet of sole with "dillnaise" and hand-peeled shrimps
- Stirred beef tartare, topped with a creme of mushrooms, and root crisps
- Rød løber from Arla Unika (Danish red cheese) with hiprose compote
