Long table dinner and inspiration for a sustainable everyday

Presented by Hotel- og Restaurantskolen

Get inspiration to a greener gastronomic everyday life when Copenhagen Hospitality College invites you to their campus in Valby.

Copenhagen Hospitality College invites you, in collaboration with Valby Local Committee and the Copenhagen Food Community, to two tasty and educational days in Valby. Everyone is welcome - families, children, young people. See how easily climate-friendly food can be made a part of your everyday life. Try tasty, green bites of food and get tips on how you can prepare food that benefits the climate at home in your own kitchen.

As a participant, you will have the opportunity to visit various stalls, where sustainable food producers will talk about local products, give tastings and inspire you to eat more green meals at home. There will also be various activities, workshops and talks.

Among many others, Emilie Quist Kjærgaard will talk about the ingredients of the seasons and share her food philosophy. Emilie is head chef and co-owner of the restaurant Medvind in Hanstholm, educated as chef from Copenhagen Hospitality College, and has at the age of 27 already worked at renowned restaurants in both Copenhagen and New York. Other talks and workshops are announced on an ongoing basis. Watch the event program here.
