Tatar tales and servings around the world

 An evening at Hideaway Vineyard with unique tartar servings and local wine, presented by chef and food writer Katrine Klinken and winemaker Karin Hvidtfeldt.

Katrine Klinken is an outstanding chef and food narrator. She LOVES raw meat, which has resulted in her ENJOYING pretty much every possibl tartar servings around the world. She has transformed this great love of raw meat is into the book Tatar.

At Hideaway, Katrine serves four of her absolute favorite tartar servings, while telling the stories behind the dish and why this particular serving is outstanding  in composition, flavor components and texture. The hostess and owner of Hideaway Vineyard, Karin Hvidtfeldt, serves wines to the four tatar dishes partly from her own fields, which are  2.3 hectares of organi grown grapes, but also with international wines.

It will be an evening with thorrough an most interesting introduction to the wonderful world Tatar - according to Katrine Tatar can go with EVERYTHING - which is why it will be served along with lemon sorbet, or the Belgian tatar in a bun, which does not show of much, but the TASTE ……

All guests are wellcomeed  in the courtyard with a glass of sparkling wine, followed by a walk through the vineyard, before everyone are seated in the vineyard's Traktørsted, where Katrine and Karin starts the evening with a taste experience in a class of its own. Of course, all guests will bring home Katrine's book TATAR.
