Gallery Heike Arndt DK, was established in 1989 on Lolland, by Heike Arndt, who is a German-born Danish-based artist, gallerist and cosmopolitan. She runs the gallery and related activities with great passion and success since 1989 and speaks German, English, Danish and Italian. In 2008, Gallery Heike Arndt DK Berlin was opened in the old East German district of Berlin-Friedrichshain. In 2016, after 10 years of hard work, Artlab Kettinge - a well-designed artist refuge - has come to live. In 2019, a graphic workshop in Kettinge was re-established. For Art & Lunch, you will meet the artist Heike Arndt who also has a special love for good food and drinks. After a welcome drink, the gallery will host a light and delicious lunch with homemade bread and well-prepared ingredients,a green menu with several dishes, spreads, dressings, breads and toppings that together give a perfect taste (fusion = local + international), which is served together with the good stories from the artist life and you will gain insight into the present exhibition and its creation. We will go through the exhibition and graphic salon and get a practical insight into some of the techniques used. Art&LUNCH means good food, learning something new from the art world and have fun together at a delicious unpretentious long-table-lunch. The participants are invited to come with an open mind and curiosity for the arts, the food, and each other's company. Lunch can only be booked together with the guided tour. The price for the guided tour including a welcome drink is 110 KR. and lunch is 185 KR. (max 20 persons over 18)
Starting at 11 to 12.00 is the tour, 12.00 -12.30 you are free to discover the exhibition and graphic salon on your own or socialize. We go to the table at 12:30 and share the food 'family style' with new and old friends.
