The Sharpest Tool In The Shed

Presented by Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival

Jesper from ‘Skærsliberiet’ gives an extraordinary talk for everyone who wants to be completely sharp on their knifes.

How and how often should my knifes be sharpened?  What is the difference between Japanese knifes and western knifes? Which knife for what – and how many knifes do you need? What is the difference between expensive and cheap knifes? Jesper will guide you through all of this, and you will leave feeling sharp as a knife.

If you bring your favorite knife, Jesper will make sure that it leaves sharp –while you are at the talk, the knife will be sharpened (free).

Get you other knifes sharpened for only 49 DKK each.

“It is completely legal to bring and get your knifes from the nearest post office or our mobile grindery”

WHAT DOES THE KNIFE LAWS SAY
During the last years the knife law has been changed several times and many opinions of when and how to transport ones knife. We would like to make it clear that it is legal to bring and get your knife from the nearest post office as from our mobile grindery.

The law allows transport during “creditable purposes”, which knife sharpening is considered as. Always remember to wrap the knifes completely safely.
