Frederiksberg Harvest Feast - Rub & Stub

Rub & Stub offers a sustainable and family-friendly dinner based on the surplus of the harvest surplus. Rub & Stub’s contribution delivers a great atmosphere, great food and an insight into the wonders of surplus goods.

Surplus goods are goods that would have been wasted or discarded had they been not included in the menu. Harvest season is a season of abundance, and the surplus is thus even greater at this time of year. At Rub & Stub’s table, you will get a taste of this abundance, so come and experience the veggies that are normally too ugly, too crooked, too small or too big for the supermarket shelves.

Surplus goods are also unpredictable, and no one knows what will be surplus until the day you start cooking. So, at this harvest feast, the menu will maintain a surprise until you take your seat at the table.

Children are very welcome – we make extra space for fun and play!

Menu
The starter is composed by a number of different savory snacks. It is an informal starter that is ready for the guests on the table when they arrive.

The main course will consist of a handful servings delivered on sharing plates for the guest to share family style around the table. Everything is based on harvest products and will be a green food experience

The dessert is based on the wonderful fruits of the season: Apples, pears and plums. The dessert is also a social dining experience, and it will be served in picnic baskets for the guest to
