Frederiksberg Harvest Feast - Sans Souci/Promenaden

This year we welcome the two local Frederiksberg heroes, Sans Souci and Promenaden 1932.

Sans Souci Restaurant & Wine Bar was built in 1902 and is located on Madvigs Allé in the heart of Frederiksberg. The beautiful historic premises have a very special spirit and have had only 5 owners since the opening. They are known for classical Danish lunch and for an evening menu with a varied selection of Danish and French classics, always tasty and focusing on quality and good ingredients.

Promenaden is a classic pearl from 1932, located in the middle of Frederiksberg Allé, offering a quick cup of coffee, a delicious breakfast for those who have time, a welcoming lunch and an evening full of classic dishes.

Menu
Grilled pork with mint pesto, capers, smoked almonds and feta crumble
Baked pumpkin with its own grains, sea buckthorn and dill
Fried cabbage and radish with rhubarb/vanilla vinaigrette and rye bread croutons

Braised lamb with jus, new potatoes, squash compote, fennel and tomato and salad with green cabbage and apples in mustard dressing

Farmers

Langebjerggaard, who supplies lamb for this menu, is located in Vemmelev and focuses on their lambs who live on the banks where they eat salt and seaweed. Langebjerggaard also works with young people with severe problems in terms of mental, social, behavioral and learning issues.

On Seerupgaard in Amager you will find over 100 varieties in the field, and the farm has excisted, since the Dutch came to the island in Christian 2's time. Seerupgaard was turned into an organic farm in 2014, and they cultivate a wealth of exciting vegetable varieties, herbs and flowers.

The practicalities

You must bring your plate, cutlery and glass yourself. • It is possible to buy beverages on the day. • You will be sitting at the restaurant you buy the ticket, so be sure to buy tickets for the same restaurant if you want to sit together. • We meet at 17.00 and at 18.00 dinner is served. At 21.00 we say thank you for food and see you again next year. • In case of rain, we have taken care of plan B.

Frederiksberg Harvest Feast is a partnership between Municipality of Frederiksberg, Økologisk Landsforening and Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival. Supported by the Tuborg Foundation. Jalm&B will put delicious Artisan-bread on the table, and Il Fornaio will provide organic olive oil to dip the bread in. Ramlösa will put water on the table for the guests.
