Peder Oxe will slowroast an entire organic ox in the middle of the historic and beautiful square, Gråbrødretorv. This is a Danish tradition originating from when King Christian the Fourth was crowned in 1596. In the evening the ox will be placed over the grill and at lunchtime the next day, guests can taste a piece of the tender beef, served with farmers sidedish of the day, freshly baked bread and butter. Peder Oxe will also be serving this year's Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival beer as well as berry pies for dessert.
