The Coastal Promenade

Presented by Food Organisation of Denmark

The coastal promenade in the bay of Aarhus offers a week full of maritime food experiences and activities during this year's Food Week from the 13th – 15th of August. There will be plenty of opportunities to satisfy your appetite with both nature experiences and food from the sea. Aarhus Ø offers a unique opportunity to cultivate both – right in the heart of the city.

During Food Week, we pay tribute to the city's special connection to the sea and give the people of Aarhus even more reasons to explore the new district in Aarhus Bay and its nature. Based in Aarhus Marina, we offer a number of activities based on the sea as a supplier of both food and maritime experiences. For instance, you can come aboard on a real fishing boat and get a taste of a lot of delicious, fresh fish - completely free. Come to the fish auction on the quay or enter a contest to make the best maritime recipe with a professional chef.

And best of all; it is completely free to attend. Simply book your ticket(s) before your arrival. Due to Covid19 restrictions, there can be a maximum of 1000 visitors at the venue at a time, which is why ticket sales are divided into intervals. The interval must indicate your time of arrival, and you are welcome to stay at the festival site as long as you wish. Free tickets can also be booked at the entrance during the day, however, there may be a risk of queues.

Hurry up and book your free ticket to ensure an unforgettable, maritime, eventful day during Food Week at Aarhus Marina at the Coastal Promenade.

Address: Kystpromenaden 1, 8000 Aarhus C

En del af Food Week
