Foraging trip, Utterselv mose

This foraging trip be with Thomas Askov and Nina Christensen. Nina will guide you around in nature to see what wild food we can find, teach you the names and how to identify and recognize them. Thomas is a professionel chef with many years experience of cooking with foraged and wild food, and will happily share cooking advice during the tour, so you have a good idea what to do with your new wild ingredients.
We will walk around and by Utterslev Mose, on the paths, by water and hopefully find som of the summers delicious wild food.
Foraged food is not just for us, many chefs and restaurants that are incredibly wellknown and acknowledged used foraged wild food as well, but that does not mean you can't use them in your daily meals, to spice up your dinner when you need it and if you've gone tired of the same vegetables from the supermarket.
We can't guarantee certain plants as nature runs it's own course, and the animals also enjoy natures pantry, but we do expect to find enough for a meal you can take home and cook to really get a taste of wild food. We focus on the gastronomic aspect on our foraging excursions and we care about making meals wild, foraged and always delicious.
Together we have the company Kokkemanden.com where we share recipes, videos and photos of regular food and wild foraged food. Now we have started this company Sanketure to share the joy of foraged food with others.
We will meet at Brønshøj Square, and from there go to Utterslev mose where the foraging will properly begin, Sunday the 28th of June at 1:00 PM.
It will be around 2 hours and we expect to walk around 5 km.
Dress according to the weather and feel free to bring a herb knife, scissors, bags, tubs or basket for your foraged goods. If you are missing some foraging gear like a basket, herb knife, herb scissor or plastic containers we can help supply this as well. On our website you can look at our selection and prices and send us a mail what you would like to purchase and we will bring it to the start of the trip and you can pay with mobilepay.
