Copenhagen’s harbor has changed from heavy industry to a cultural stage. Theatres adorn the promenades whiel libraries and museums reflect their futuristic facades in the water. But the harbor still houses proud food crafts and venues. On a special canal tour Meyers and an urban planning expert from By & Havn will explore the duality of the harbor. We embark at The Royal Playhouse and visit a selection of great harbor friends. The Black Diamond serves up a thirst quenching bounty, BLOX invites us in for architectural speed-dating and at the Opera House we’ll chill and snack for a bit. In Copenhagen’s North Harbor we’ll disembark to visit Nordhavn Smokehouse and gain new insights into the craft of smoking. The ancient technique will be used on salmon and veggies alike, and you’ll even get to smoke your own products available for pick-up at Meyers Deli in Frederiksberg in the days after the cruise. The evening concludes with a communal dinner ‘back home’ at Restaurant Ofelia in The Royal Playhouse. Food from sea and soil will fill our stomachs as we “hygger” with new and old sailor friends.
